If you receive a phone call from someone representing Pleasant Valley Community Fire Company asking for a donation, a gift card, money to be sent to them or an address other than the fire company; be suspicious and do not do it. Get as much information as possible and contact the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department to report the incident.

There are people calling residents in our response area asking for this kind of donation. Please, please do not give anything to them and please report them to the Sheriff’s office.
